As you post more and more of this stuff, I realize how you cut corners (no pun intended :) ) to get it all in there. I still say you did a great job overall, but I liken it to building a cabinet. I'm sure I could save tons of money and do it myself as it's simple woodworking with the right tools. But it will have that "rough around the edges" look and to me it's not worth it. To some it IS. I hate to seem "anti-DIY", but each time you go WAY overboard it making it seem that Joe Blow can and SHOULD do this themselves. If I have to go against the grain each time you post to let people know there IS a huge difference, I will. You see, these are Z people and those details matter to most. In pictures your eyes focus on the 90% that's big open vinyl space and not on the edges, corners, etc that you look at each time you close your door. Pictures hide a great deal of detail. I've seen many a bad interior install at the shows (not saying yours is, but we can't even see those details). Get me some CLEAR closeups of those edges in 2 weeks...seriously. I think in the end this FAQ is a great thing for those that do NOT mind a challenge, but IMHO you have done it much too soon. You'd think it was a race =) I also realize you are NOT a pro and you shouldn't be held to their standard per se. I just want people to tread cautiously on this one because once you rip that stuff off, there's no going back. Good luck to you in the future and to all those that try it.
